After "giving it a go" for nine months as a gay bar, the After
Dark Lounge at 13111 Broadway, has been converted to a straight bar. Marshall, the owner, said that he would like to thank the many regular patrons of the bar for their support and
patronage. Some of them still stop by and visit. After nine months of operating at a loss; the first week as a straight bar Iwas more successful than any week when the bar was gay.
